The Board of Directors of the Bike-Walk Alliance of New Hampshire (BWANH) announces that Executive Director Tim Blagden will transition from his staff position to volunteer chair of the BWANH Policy Committee. This will allow Tim to focus on policy issues that will improve biking and walking conditions across New Hampshire. Tim will also be part a major fundraising effort to strengthen the organization’s finances and prepare the Alliance for a critical new phase of  growth.

The Bike-Walk Alliance is the leading advocacy organization representing cyclists, runners and walkers for safety and access to New Hampshire’s roadways as well as to increase infrastructure like paved shoulders on roadways.

“Tim Blagden is a tireless advocate for policies that improve access and safety for bicyclists and pedestrians in New Hampshire,” said Rebecca Harris, President of the Bike-Walk Alliance’s Board of Directors. “By moving to the Policy Committee, the organization retains Tim’s passion for effective transportation policies like Complete Streets while helping conserve and ultimately strengthen the Alliance’s finances.”
