Plan NH’s “Home, Sweet Home” series continues on September 15th. Join us and explore why we need to think differently about “senior housing” – where it’s built and how it’s designed. We will also look at how home design components can affect our daily lives.
This workshop is for planners, designers, builders and developers, municipal leaders, as well as anyone with an interest in these topics.
The purpose of the workshop is to raise awareness that our traditional approaches to “senior housing” and of home design itself may need to be re-thought.
At the end of the workshop, you will have an understanding of the unintentional barriers that traditional approaches have brought, and new thinking about what could be different in your own community.
