Bedford, NH, June 2015 –

Eckman Construction is providing design-build services for R.J. Finlay & Co. to reconstruct the existing parking structure at 30 Temple Street in Nashua. The building currently features an open-air parking deck to go along with an underground garage structure which is in various states of deterioration. Eckman has begun work deconstructing the old parking deck to make way for the new parking structure which will provide tenants a safe and clean area to park their vehicles.

“Our goals for this project include limiting disruptions during construction on this tight urban site and completing a quality, new parking structure that will provide decades of useful parking for users of Nashua’s largest downtown office building,” said Preston Hunter, Vice President at Eckman Construction.

Formerly known as Indian Head Plaza, the commercial building is home to a variety of businesses including attorney offices and the popular eatery, The Seedling Café. Just steps from the city’s best restaurants, bars and cultural events, the seven-story building at 30 Temple St. is one of downtown Nashua’s most recognizable structures.
