NH Construction Industry Ethics Award

The NH Construction Industry Ethics Award is presented annually to “the individual, business, or organization that, through words and deeds, best demonstrates a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in construction.”

A distinguished panel of New Hampshire industry leaders, including past recipients, will review nominations. Known for their own high standards and sound judgment, the judges ensure that each year’s honoree truly represents the best of the construction industry. Along with a distinguished plaque, the recipient will also receive a $2,000 donation made in their name to the charity of their choice.

The Award’s long-time sponsor, David “Woody” Wood—now retired—is a nationally recognized writer, publisher, and past president of the Construction Writers Association. His steadfast advocacy for ethics in construction helped establish this award as a respected benchmark of professional integrity. When he retired, he invited Plan NH to assume administration of this program.

Nominations Due January 16, 2026!

Congratulations Gary Abbott, 2025 recipient of the NH Construction Industry Ethics Award!
