On May 31st at 5:30 pm, at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College (1 St. Anselm Dr. Goffstown), the Southern NH Planning Commission will host a region-wide Becoming Age-Friendly Forum, which will highlight the findings of several months’ research, resident input and community assessments.
The evening will also include a lively discussion from a panel of experts poised to explore innovative ideas and solutions to transportation, housing, recreation and engagement, as well as business and economic development. There will also be opportunities for networking and public feedback.
SNHPC has teamed up with AARP to lay the groundwork for building an age-friendly region. Community members from the 14 SNHPC communities, local and regional organizations, and state agencies are encouraged to attend and engage with one another to discuss the future of an age-friendly Southern NH Region!
Go here to register. There is no cost to attend.
For more information please contact Sylvia von Aulock at 669-4664. (Thanks to AARP for hosting the event! The chefs at St. Anselm will be busy cooking tantalizing treats!)
This project is funded by the Tufts Health Plan Foundation, the Manchester Health Department, and AARP.
