Plan NH is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Merit Awards of Excellence, which recognize outstanding projects that enhance the built environment and reflect Plan NH’s mission and values. Submissions are evaluated for their connection to Smart Growth and Livability principles, creative collaboration, and positive community impact across social, economic, environmental, and inclusivity factors.
“Nominations for the Merit Awards celebrate the creativity, collaboration, and commitment that make New Hampshire communities stronger, more vibrant, and more sustainable,” said Tiffany Tononi McNamara, Executive Director of Plan NH. “We are excited to recognize projects that demonstrate how thoughtful planning and design can truly improve people’s everyday lives.”
Nominations are open through April 17, 2026, and will be reviewed by a jury of diverse professionals from across New Hampshire. Award recipients will be notified and honored at the Plan NH Annual Merit & Scholarship Awards Event on June 18, 2026, at Hotel Concord.
