Plan NH is thrilled to announce the release of the final report from our most recent Charrette in the city of Nashua, NH. In May 2025, our multidisciplinary design team conducted a two-day Charrette focused on Nashua’s Millyard area. To best understand Nashua’s vision for the Millyard, the team toured the target area, engaged with community members through public listening sessions, and met with community leaders such as local business owners, elected officials, and City administrators. The team then collaborated on a series of recommendations to help Nashua develop the Millyard with respect to the input they gathered during the input process.
Throughout the two-day visioning process, the Charrette Team witnessed the Nashua community’s deep care for the Millyard’s future. The Team also recognized the abundance of natural and built assets in the area. This prompted the powerful insight that “by working with each other (and the environment!), Nashua can reimagine the Millyard as a place that celebrates the City and the great people that live and work in New Hampshire’s Gate City.”
