PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Plan NH welcomes new staff member, Alissa Del Tufo, to the team. Alissa will serve as the organization’s first Program Manager, primarily focused on the InvestNH Municipal Planning & Zoning Grant Program.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Alissa. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and, from her very first day, hit the ground running.” said Tiffany Tononi McNamara, Executive Director of Plan NH. “This hire is especially exciting, as it marks the first time that Plan NH has added a full time staff member outside of my position. Growing our capacity is key to moving our mission forward and Alissa will be an integral part of that work.”
Alissa’s work will center on the InvestNH Municipal Planning & Zoning Grant Program. This program is administered jointly by NH Housing, Plan NH, and UNH Cooperative Extension, and is funded by the NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs as part of the $100 million InvestNH Initiative with ARPA State Fiscal Recovery funds. This program is aimed at increasing local housing opportunities in ways that align with the needs and long-term vision of local communities. Alissa will support applicants and grantees who are awarded financial assistance through this program.
Alissa has a background in engineering, business, and project management. She is currently a Selectwoman in her hometown of Raymond, NH and has previously served on the Planning Board and Zoning Board as well as the CIP and Historic District Commissions in Raymond. Alissa notes, “I have always had a strong interest in community development and engagement, and am thrilled to be a part of Plan NH!” In addition to her project management and municipal experience, Alissa holds an active real estate license and helps lead her family’s foundation dedicated to supporting cancer patients and veterans in the state of New Hampshire.
