What: Solar 101 Workshop for NH Municipal Officials
When: Monday May 9th, 3- 5 pm
Where: Nashua Public Library, 2 Court St. Nashua, NH 03060
Cost: Free
This free workshop will highlight resources developed to help municipalities and installers reduce costs and simplify the process of implementing solar PV installations, such as:
- removing regulatory barriers
- clarifying the permitting process, and
- lowering the “soft costs” associated with solar PV systems.
Steve Whitman, Resilience Planning & Design LLC, will discuss topics including planning and zoning, permitting, codes and inspections, as well as municipal installations. Also find out about NRPC’s new Renewable Energy Toolbelt initiative.
