As we reflect on 2025, I am grateful for the people and partnerships that make Plan NH a strong and trusted voice for New Hampshire’s built environment. Thanks to our members, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners, Plan NH closed the year with growing momentum and meaningful impact across the state.
Our network now includes more than 100 firms, municipalities, nonprofits, and individuals, and we saw record-breaking attendance at events in 2025—including networking events hosted by Engelberth Construction, The Westbrook Inn, and TFMoran, a workshop and walking tour on public-private partnerships in Nashua, and a Fall Conference focused on Smart Growth and high-performance design in Concord. We also expanded fundraising through our first charitable gaming dates with Revo Casino & Public House in Dover, helping diversify support for our mission.
Celebrating excellence and investing in future leaders remained central to our work. In partnership with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, we awarded $31,000 in scholarships to 14 students, and recognized four projects with 2025 Merit Awards of Excellence: Allenstown Community School, Jackson Square Affordable Housing (Nashua), Penacook Community Center (Concord), and the Souhegan River Trail (Merrimack).
Community Design Charrettes in Manchester, Nashua, and Hampton, a fall intern through the Semester for Impact Program, and the addition of Anna Wells as Program Coordinator all strengthened our capacity to serve communities. I am especially grateful to Anna and our Board for keeping everything running smoothly during my maternity leave this summer while my family and I were welcoming twins. I was also honored to be part of Leadership New Hampshire Class of 2025 (best class ever!) and named to NH Business Review’s New Hampshire 200, a recognition I share with the entire Plan NH community.
As we look to 2026, we are excited to celebrate 30 years of Community Design Charrettes and to welcome even more communities by offering free municipal memberships, expanding access to learning, collaboration, and support across the state. Plan NH remains committed to fostering meaningful collaborations, supporting communities, and championing the people and places that enhance quality of life in New Hampshire.
If you aren’t connected with Plan NH yet, I hope you will join us!
Thank you,
Tiffany Tononi McNamara
Executive Director, Plan NH
