Wolfeboro Charrette Announcement

Working on a plan

Wolfeboro, October 22 and 23 (Please Note Change in Dates):

The objective of this project is to form a vision for the ‘gap’ corridor between Wolfeboro’s traditional downtown core, community uses, and a critical commercial area.  In order to establish this vision, the community hopes to foster enhanced pedestrian connectivity and revitalize/redevelop other municipal properties and adjacent areas. (from their application)

We envision incorporating the concept of (creative) placemaking in our approach to this.

While anyone is invited and encouraged to attend, we are in particular need of

  • traffic engineers
  • landscape architects
  • planners
  • a housing professional
  • and more
Even if you do not fall into any of the above categories, you just may have something valuable to contribute! Reach out to us to learn more!

A charrette is a great way to get out of the office for a couple of days and apply your knowledge in a different way, while
“giving back”. You will meet new people, look at things a little differently, and many grow professionally through the process.

We do respectfully request that you commit to both days.

The team will be led by Jamie Simchik (Simchik Planning & Development), with support from Brian Pratt (Fuss & O’Neill).  Please contact Jamie Simchik at jsimchik@simchikplandev.com if you are interested.
