On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Plan NH hosted our fall conference, Art Attack! Arts, Culture, and the Built Environment, at The Hotel Concord in Concord, NH.
The program focused on how planners, architects, and others are using arts and culture to create more meaningful, vibrant, and sustainable places in New Hampshire and beyond. From preservation to adaptive reuse to restoration… from makerspaces to contemporary art galleries to performance space… our speakers explored how arts, culture, and the built environment come together every day to enhance the vibrancy of our communities. Dr. Annis Sengupta of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and the Arts & Culture Division of the American Planning Association was our keynote speakers and we had a wonderful lineup of additional speakers who presented throughout the morning.
