The Municipal Technical Assistance Grant (MTAG) Program provides funding ($5000 to $20,000), on a competitive basis, to communities who wish to expand their housing options and need to change zoning to do so. Funds are to hire consultants to assist with identifying the needs, reviewing current zoning, and then re-writing or creating new zoning to support the neeeds.
